ISO Certification of International Banking Services (IBS), International Business Units (IBUs) and International Lending Units (ILUs) in Cyprus
Our commitment to the highest quality of service and client satisfaction has been independently verified in March 2009 when Bank of Cyprus became the first bank to attain the ISO 9001:2008 certification for all its IBUs around Cyprus.
The reassessment audit performed by the Cyprus Certification Company, has confirmed in May 2016 the compliance of the Quality Management System which is applied at Bank of Cyprus International Banking (IB), in accordance with the requirements of the revised Standard ISO 9001:2015.
It should be noted that Bank of Cyprus is the first Bank in Cyprus to attain the revised ISO 9001:2015 certification for all its IBUs/ILUs around Cyprus.
ISO 9001:2015 certification is an important milestone for Bank of Cyprus International Banking (IB), the International Business Units (IBUs) and the International Lending Units (ILUs) that validates the commitment to delivering the highest quality of service that our clients have come to expect. The quality management system implemented provides the assurance to clients that IB and the IBUs/ILUs will continue their long tradition of developing and providing products and services of the highest quality including the notion of risk (risk – based approach) and assessing the effectiveness of actions taken.
The certification covers the provision of banking and other financial services to non-residents of Cyprus and to corporations with international operations, at each of the IBUs. It also covers the management and support of the IBUs centrally at IBS, as well as the provision of support to the Representative Offices of the Bank around the world.
