ISO Certification of International Banking Services (IBS) and International Business Units (IBUs) in Cyprus

Our commitment to the highest quality of service and client satisfaction has been independently verified in March 2009 when Bank of Cyprus became the first bank to attain the ISO 9001: 2008 certification for all its IBUs around Cyprus.

About ISO

ISO 9001:2008 certification is an important milestone for Bank of Cyprus IBS and IBUs that validates the commitment to delivering the highest quality of service that our clients have come to expect. The quality management system implemented provides the assurance to clients that IBS and the IBUs will continue their long tradition of developing and providing products and services of the highest quality.

The certification covers the provision of banking and other financial services to non-residents of Cyprus and to corporations with international operations, at each of the IBUs. It also covers the management and support of the IBUs centrally at IBS, as well as the provision of support to the Representative Offices of the Bank around the world.

 

European Certification for Business Excellence by the EFQM

Certification of the Hellenic Model for Business Excellence “Αιεν Αριστεύειν”

In our continuous effort to improve the services we provide to our customers, we have also obtained on 11 October 2011, the Internationally recognised European certification in Business Excellence at  the level  titled “Committed to Excellence in Europe” certification by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) as well as the Greek Certification “Αιεν Αριστεύειν” at the level titled “Adopting the Principles of Business Excellence”, for all our IBUs and Representative Offices around the world.

According to Louis Pochanis, Senior Manager  International Banking Services: “The European Certification in Business Excellence by the EFQM and the ‘Αιεν Αριστεύειν’ certification obtained by the IBS and IBUs of the Bank of Cyprus and the Bank’s representation offices abroad, are yet another proof that the Group is an ‘unfailing value’ for our clients and associates”.
