Notice account
Do you want flexibility in handling your deposits and attractive interest rates? In that case, the notice account is for you.
These are deposit accounts from which you can make withdrawals (part or all of your balance) without charge after giving notice at the specified time (8, 35, 90 or 180 days) that you have chosen.
For example, if you have a 35 Day Notice Account and you know that next month you will need a specific amount, you must give notice at one of our branches 35 days in advance. After the 35 days you may make a withdrawal of part or all of the amount you have stated without any charge.
It is important to know that:
- If you make a withdrawal from the account without the required notice, you will receive reduced interest.
- The interest rate is attractive and depends on the notice period you choose.
- You have the option to have your salary directly credited to the account.
- You can have standing orders on your account for payments of loan instalments, insurance premiums etc.
- You have a direct debits service for the payment of utility bills.
- You have easy access to your account via the 1bank service (on the Internet or by telephone).
- The account makes it possible to make deposits without limit as to frequency or deposit amount (which will attract interest rate on the daily balance).
- There is no expiry date.
